Services sector in the past few years had the highest growth rate before the pandemic

Between 2011 and 2020, policy rate touched peak of 14% and low of 5.75%. CY20 saw the rate decline by 525bps which is the largest single year drop.

PSX recorded a market cap of US$ 92bn at close of CY16 and every since with rising dollar has been declining.

Historically, foreign investors have mostly been net sellers at the Pakistan Stock Exchange.

The sector managed to post record its all time high dispatches in October. Total dispatches for the year increased by 7% compared to CY19.
