Population Density

Retrieve Pakistan's population density data by region and province, measuring the concentration of population per unit area.

GET/3.0/economy/pop-density

Description

This endpoint retrieves population density data for Pakistan showing the number of people per square kilometer across regions and provinces. Population density is a key demographic indicator for urban planning, infrastructure development, resource allocation, and sustainability assessment. Higher density areas require different policy approaches, infrastructure investments, and service provision models compared to sparsely populated regions. The data includes overall density measurements, provincial breakdowns, and temporal trends enabling density change assessment and regional comparison. Data is sourced from the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).
