Description

This endpoint retrieves data on foreign investment flows into Pakistan, including Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and Foreign Portfolio Investment (FPI). FDI represents long-term investments in production assets and business ventures providing capital and technology transfer, while FPI includes equity and bond investments. The data includes breakdown by source country, investment sector (telecommunications, energy, manufacturing, etc.), and investment type, enabling assessment of foreign investment attractiveness and sectoral concentration. Foreign investment is a critical source of capital, technology, and employment creation. Data is sourced from the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
